She Corporates will be targeting a perfect start when the Group B matches of the FUFA Women Super League get underway on Monday.

The side faces Olila High school at midday after the Lady Doves and Isra Soccer Academy game in the morning.

On arrival at FUFA technical centre in Njeru, She Corporates coach Ali Zzinda expressed the team’s readiness.

Zzinda stated: “Am glad that we have arrived herr safely at Njeru, we have had adequate preparations and we are ready to compete.”

They welcome back defender Bridget Nabisaalu after she missed the pre-season games dud to injury.

Last season, before it was called off, Olila High School beat She Corporates 2-0 thanks to goals from Amoding Siprosa and Cecilia Apiding.

However, they will be fancying their chances to make revenge before facing other Group B opponents UCU Lady Cardinals, Isra Soccer Academy and Lady Doves.

They were fifth last season when the league was stopped due Covid19 and the addition of new signings including defender Margaret Namirimu from Muteesa I Royal University makes them a strong contender for one of the two available slots for a place in the playoffs.

Zzinda’s biggest worry going into the games will be the team’s inability to find the net and the four forwards in the squad – Noeline Namiro, Regina Nantege, Favour Nambatya and Susan Atim – will carry the scoring burden.
