Ikwaput Goal Not Enough As Olila Fight Back To Hold Lady Doves

Tuesday, April 27
*UCU Lady Cardinals 1-0 She Corporate
*Olila High 1-1 Lady Doves

Fazil Ikwaput was on target once again but her goal was not enough for Lady Doves who played a one-all draw with Olila High in FUFA Women Super League.

Ikwaput who scored four against Isra Soccer Academy on Monday, got his fifth with a beautiful striker after making a good run past Olila defence to open the scores in the 35th minute at Njeru.

Lady Doves had an edge and thought they had doubled the lead but Shadia Nankya had her strike ruled out for offside in the 50th minute.

Resilient Olila were soon level, benefiting from Lady Doves failure to defend the corner, when Siporosa Amoding poked home from close range after Grace Aluka had headed a nice corner into the goal mouth.

Lady Doves are top with four points, one below UCU lady Cardinals and She Corporate on three, Olila on one point while Isra are rooted at the bottom with no point.

The top two teams in Group B will join Kawempe and Uganda Martyrs who qualified from Group A, in the semis.
