Aluka’s Double Guides Olila Past Isra Soccer Academy

Olila High School earned their first Victory as they thrashed Isra Soccer Academy 3-0 at the ongoing FUFA Women Super League at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Grace Aluka grabbed a brace while Dorcus Aarakit scored the other goal to ensure that Olila took the day.

Aluka opened the scoring in the 13th minute converting from the spot after she was fouled in the area.

Later on, in the 26th minute, Aarakit doubled the lead for her side after capitalizing from a defensive mistake by Isra’s goalkeeper Brenda Kasana.

At the resumption of the second half, Isra looked a more composed side but couldn’t could get past a solid Olila defence.

With just a minute left on the clock, Aluka put the game to bed scoring the third on the day, heading home a well crafted cross by Siporosa Amoding.

The result sees Olila move to second with 4 points from three games and they leapfrog UCU who lost 2-1 to Lady Doves earlier on Wednesday morning.

For Isra, they are yet to register any win in this year’s League – Lost 2 and have conceded more goals than any other team in Group 2 (8).

Next up for Olila is a clash against UCU Lady Cardinals in their last game on Saturday while Isra Soccer Academy return to action on Friday against UCU in their third game.
