Uganda Premier league side Kyetume Football Club have indefinitely suspended two of it’s players.
The two suspended players are goal keeper Joel Mutakubwa and defender Julius Ntambi.
The two culprits are said to have behaved in unprofessional manner in the Slaughters recent league game where they lost 4-2 to Kitara FC in Masindi.
“We regret to inform you that the following Players have been Suspended till further notice and will not future in the upcoming club fixtures. Read part of the statement released by Kyetume on Thursday.
However the major reason for the suspension of the two players is still kept with in the club for proper investigations.
“Kyetume FC has launched investigations into this matter as the club wishes to keep it in-house for purposes of a proper and just investigations.
“The club has notified the coaching department to stop the players from conducting further training as investigations are under going.”
The recent developments adds on the poor run of results the Nakisunga based club has had this season.
The Slaughters sit in the 14th position and face a fierce battle to avoid relegation this season.
