BUL Needs To Win A Title Next Season – Isabirye

New BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye says the club will have to win something next season.

Isabirye was appointed as Arthur Kyesimira’s replacement earlier this week and he is already setting target beyond this campaign.

The former Kyetume FC gaffer made these remarks after his first training session with the club at the Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe on Thursday, April 29.

He says he’s grateful and excited to come back at the Eastern Giants and that the task at hand is not hard.

“Am glad to be back at BUL FC. I am really happy to work with a very good group of people, the players are good and see the squad is balanced. The coaching staff is also so good, the task is not very hard.” Isabirye said.

“The task is to get at least 20 points in nine games which I think we can do because I have the support of so many people. I am very sure we can achieve that.

“Seriously, I think the task is very easy and it is to bring players together, to make sure that we achieve the targets and seriously BUL FC needs something next season.”

“We need to win something next season so we are building a team to see that we achieve that. I can see so many things have changed here at BUL FC, this is really what I wanted. I think am going to be working with people who know me and i know most of them so I think we shall work together and achieve our goal”.

“The target is to make sure that we get at least 20 points in 9 games, so I think we can achieve that”.

“I see the team is balanced, we need to just work together, I need everybody and I know if we are together we shall achieve that goal.”

BUL are currently slumping having won just one of their past seven League games.

They are currently in 9th spot with 25 points from 21 matches.

Alex Isabirye first game on the touch-line will be in the Uganda Cup on Wednesday 5th May against either Kitara or Kigezi Homeboyz.

In the league, BUL will host Mbarara City at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe on Saturday 8th May.
