Lady Doves FC progressed to the semi final of this year’s FUFA Women Super League despite drawing 0-0 against She Corporate.
In what was their last game on Friday, the Doves fought hard to earn the point.
She Corporate who were dominate on the day missed several chances to score.
First, Favour Nambatya missed with a keeper to beat, Janat Thungu failed to tap into an empty net when goal keeper Daisy Nakaziro was beaten before Phiona Nambumba’s effort hit the upright.
On the other hand, Lady Doves also had chances. Goakeeper Vanessa Karungi parried away Fazila Ikwaput’s effort before denying Elizabeth Nakigozi at the near post.
The result sees Lady Doves as the first team to go through on 8 points in Group 2, registering two wins and two draws.
In their last game, She Corporate face Isra Soccer Academy on Saturday in a game where they need maximum points to stand chance of going to the next stage.
