South African heavy weights Orlando Pirates have drawn Raja Casablanca in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter finals in the awake of the draw conducted at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Friday.
Pirates progressed as Group A runners-up following a home defeat to Nigerian giants Enyimba on Wednesday meant the former would face any of the group winners of the remaining three groups.
And the draw will see them cross paths with Moroccan side and favourites Raja in what promises to be a dicey affair.
Raja, last season’s Champions league semi-finalists, are touted as odds on favourites to take on home this year’s title like they did back in 2018.
They romped to the knock-out stages after winning all their six group games and notching a haul of 13 goals whlist conceding none.
The other mouth watering tie pits CS Sfaxien from Tunisia against JS Kabylie of Algeria. Cameroonian Side Coton Sport while take on fellow West African side ASC Jaraaf from Senegal while Pyramids will take on Enyimba from Nigeria.

The first-leg of the semi-final will take place on 16 May where the group runners up host first – while the return leg will be played on 23 May.
