Onduparaka FC 0-1 SC Villa
UPDF FC 1-3 Vipers SC

SC Villa beat Onduparaka FC 1-0 in the Uganda Cup round of 16 first leg played at the Green Light Stadium in Arua.

Faizo Kazibwe came off the bench to score the all important goal for Villa as Edward Kaziba’s side who now take the first leg advantage.

Hosts Onduparaka attempted to score early only for Living Kabon to be denied by Meddie Kibirige, moments after Noel Nasasira’s effort went wide.

Onduparaka were forced into an early substitution after forward Jamal Malish was stretched off and replaced by Gabriel Matatta.

Both sides traded possession for large portions of the game whilst creating little in front of goal.

With 3 minutes left on the clock, Kazibwe netted what would prove to be the winner.

After the victory, Villa only need to draw or a win of any kind to advance to the quarter finals.

Both teams meet again on Tuesday for the return leg in Bombo.
