Ogena Out As Rugby Cranes 7s Squad To South Africa Named

There is no Pius Ogena as the Uganda Rugby Cranes sevens squad to South Africa for the 2021 Solidarity Camp is named.

The Betway KOBs number eight, Ogena, is injured after picking a knock in the league game against Impis last Saturday.

He was part of the team that took part in the Emirates Invitational Rugby Sevens tournament last Month in Dubai.

The Solidarity camp in South Africa is part of the qualifications for the Olympic Games in Japan Tokyo.

Uganda will leave on May 6th and return on 16th May 2021, the Uganda Rugby Union has announced.

The men’s camp in Stellenbosch will feature Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda and South Africa.
