*Kawempe Muslim 0-1 Lady Doves
*UCU lady Cardinals vs Uganda Martyrs, 12pm
Lady Doves have booked a slot to this year’s FUFA Women Super League final after beating record winners Kawempe Muslim on Monday morning.
In the first semifinal at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Lady Doves won 1-0 thanks to Reticia Nabbosa’s strike at the close of the first interval.
Nabbosa collected from outside the box from launching a rocket that kissed inside of the crossbar.
The hard fought victory came at a cost as Lady Doves lost star performer Fazilla Ikwaput who was stretchered off following a collision.
The defeat is a big blow for Kawempe Muslim Ladies, the most successful club in Uganda’s women football who have won four of the five Championships.
Lady Doves will wait on the winner between Uganda Martyrs and UCU Lady Cardinals in the final that will be played on Wednesday May 5 at Njeru.
