Villa Progress To Uganda Cup Last 8 Despite Draw Against Onduparaka

Tuesday, May 04
SC Villa 0 – 0 Onduparaka (AGG: 1-0)
Bombo Military Barracks Stadium

Nothing could separate SC Villa and Onduparaka FC in a Uganda Cup game that saw very limited chances created by both sides on Tuesday.

However, having won 1-0 in the first leg at the Green Light stadium, Villa progress to the quarter finals on a by the same scoreline, aggregate.

At Bombo, Goffin Oyirwoth had a shot from a free kick head wide of the target and Emmanuel Ogwang failed from a good position, in the two best opportunities before the break.

In a rare sniff on goal for the visitors, Jamal Malish shot straight at Meddie Kibirige from a free kick.

Onduparaka’s best chance to level the tie fell to substitute Mukiibi but his effort bothered only the side netting.

The result sees Villa join Vipers and Wakiso Giants in the last eight.
