Uganda Rugby Union has summoned Betway KOBs winger Raymond Mukwaya in their Disciplinary Committee.

Mukwaya is expected to answer charges brought to him folllowing incidents on Saturday in a League fixture against Impis.

He was sent off in the 35th minute for allegedly punching Impis player Jeremiah Odhiambo who had failed to release him after a tackle.

“Raymond Mukwaya of Betway KOBs has been summoned to the Disciplinary Committee session taking place today following the red card he received during the game against Impis on 1st May 2021 at Makerere,” reads a statement from the Union.

Mukwaya will appear before the Committee today, Wednesday 5:30pm in a closed-door session at the URU offices in Lugogo.

KOBs went on to win the game 91-00 at Graveyard in Makerere.

If banned, Mukwaya will be expected to miss the team’s League decider against Black Pirates on Saturday at Legends.
