There were three penalties, including two missed, as MYDA FC and Kyetume shared spoils in a dramatic thriller.
The hosts had to dig deep to recover from a two-goal slump and secure a point at King George IV Stadium in Tororo.
However, they had to endure two missed penalties each taken by their goalkeeper Isaac Osikol and Peter Mutebi.
Ezra Kaye swept home the opener for Kyetume in the 12th minute and the Slaughters later doubled their lead when Yusuf Ssaka scored from the spot in the 48th minute after Lojum Brandy’s foul.
Before halftime break, Osikol missed his penalty after Peter Mutebi was tripped in the box and later Mutebi fluffed the second when Rashid Mpata was brought down in the area.
That second penalty by Mutebi was retaken, but saved again, after the referee had judged Kyetume goalkeeper Were to have moved off his line.
The result leaves MYDA without a win at home after 10 games and move to 10 points overall after 22 games.
The Slaughters on the other hand, have garnered 20 points but remain 4 points adrift of safety.
