Twinamastsiko, Kigezi Home Boyz Part Ways

FUFA Big League side Kigezi Home Boyz have parted ways with head coach Mark Twinamastsiko.

The CAF B licence holder mutually terminated his employment contract with the club on Thursday 6th/May.

The two part ways barely 24 hours after Kigezi lost 2-1 to BUL FC in the Uganda Cup on Wednesday.

“The management of Kigezi HomeBoyz Football Club (KHB FC) and the club head coach Mr. Mark Twinamatsiko have today Thursday, May 06, 2021, agreed by mutual consent to end his employment with the club with immediate effect. Read part of a Club statement.

“The club recognizes his contribution towards the growth and development of KHB FC and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

“In respect of the relationship mutually enjoyed by both parties, there will be no further comment on the matter.”

As a result, the academy coach Mr. Denis Tushabe will now take charge of all first-team duties as the interim coach
as Kigezi seeks to get a replacement for Twinamastsiko.

The new developments come at a time when Kigezi are on a poor run of results.

The Gorillas have managed only six points from as many games in the first round of the Big League and are most likely destined to bow out of the cup.
