•Forward Hamisi Tibita continues to be a long term absentee for BUL FC.
•Joseph Ssemujju is back after missing six games.
•The game arrives a little early for Ambrose Kirya who is nursing a knee injury.
•Jasper Aheebwa is back from injury for Mbarara City but not fully fit so he is not expected to feature.
•Forward Makueth wol is on light training and waits a late fitness test to see if he makes the match-day squad.
•Bamba Soulyamane is ruled out for the away trip with injury.

Preview – Isabirye targets second win in a row as BUL head coach

BUL FC Interim head coach Alex Isabirye will be targeting his second win in a row at the club after a 2-1 win against Kigezi Home Boys in the Uganda cup.

BUL come into the fixture with wobbly form having won one, drawn once and lost the other of their previous fixtures across all competition.

All eyes will be on youngster Simon Oketch after his fine display against Kigezi earlier this week.

The last meeting between the two sides, at the same venue last season, saw BUL win 3-0 with Musa Esenu scoring a hat trick.

For Mbarara City, they are seeking to bounce back from defeat after their loss to table leaders URA in their previous league outing.

Both teams are level on 25 points with BUL in 10th while Mbarara are 11th on the log.

The two played out a one all draw in the reverse fixture at Kakyeeka Stadium earlier in the season.


This will be the eighth meeting between both teams across all competition with BUL FC winning twice, Mbarara City thrice and the other two games ending in draws.
