Saturday 8th/May / 2021

Kitara FC scored late to salvage a draw against Busoga United as the two sides drew 2-2 in a League game played at the Masindi Municipal Grounds.

Nathan Oloro scored in stoppage time to ensure Kitara earned a deserved point on the day.

Musa Doca had earlier netted for the hosts to level matters after Ismail Mugulusi opened the scoring from a direct free kick.

Ivan Wani’s second half strike that saw Busoga restore their lead looked like it would be the winner only for Oloro to equalise in injury-time.

The game was earlier delayed before kick-off due to a a heavy down pour in Masindi.

The result sees Busoga stay in 12th place with 25 points after 22 games played.

For Kitara, they are still bottom of the table, collecting just nine points.

In their next assignments, Kitara host BUL FC in Masindi, while Busoga United are at home Wakiso Giants at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
