Moses Okot Departs Onduparaka Over Personal Reasons

Midfielder Moses Okot has announced through his Facebook page that he has parted ways with the West Nile based club due to his personal reasons.

In this statement he thanked the management, coaches and players at Onduparaka and noted that he was honoured to work with the Caterpillars.

“It was an honour working with Onduparaka Football Club. Thanks to the management, coaches, players for the time we spent together. Due to personal reasons, I have parted ways with the club. I wish the club the best”. Thank you. Read Okot’s Facebook post.

Okot joined Onduparaka from Soltillo Bright Stars after the expiration of his three years spell in September 2020 but he is understood to have frequently fallen out with the Caterpillars’ board.

Onduparaka are yet to come out and make an official statement regarding Okot’s departure.

Okot has previously featured for Soltillo Bright Stars, The Saints, Gulu United Academy and Uganda Martyrs University in the University Football League where he was named the MVP and Top Scorer in 2013.
