KCCA FC interim manager Morely Byekwaso anticipates a tough encounter when KCCA FC host Kyetume.
The two sides will clash on Sunday at Lugogo in what will be the final match of round 24.
Byekwaso made the remarks in a pre-match press conference ahead of the Sunday afternoon showdown.
“It will be a tough game because we are playing a team that wants to stay in the league and they don’t want to lose but good enough we are home. Byekwaso stated
“Its the game we are looking at to bring back our form.
“We have been trying everything but just not clinical enough in our offense. We have worked on it continuously and God will let us free.
“If we win, I believe there will be confidence in our players and there will be sight for us as a technical team because there is something new we are building.
“The game won’t be an easy one because Kyetume also have an experienced coach and we have to fight because there will be no room for excuse.
“If we win, we will have our confidence back and see how we deal with the coming fixtures.”
KCCA FC has been bothered with injuries especially at the frontline.
However, on Sunday, they will be boosted by the return of Sam Ssenyonjo and Charles Lwanga although Byekwaso says they are not yet match fit.
“We are happy for the return of Ssenyonjo and Lwanga even though their fitness levels are still down as evident in the training we have had.
“But nevertheless, it brings back our squad depth because our substitutions now lift us in the game compared to the previous encounters.”
KCCA FC beat Kyetume FC 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru thanks to Bright Anukani’s goal.
KCCA FC are currently 5th on the Uganda premier league table with 38points after 23games played
