Defender Derrick Ngoobi early goal in the 2nd minute was just enough to win it for visiting Bright Stars at BUL
The visitors had to finish the game with 10 men after Andrew Kaggwa was sent off for a foul on Thomas Kabaale at Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe.
The victory lifts Bright Stars to fourth place with 40 points, two above KCCA who will be in action against Kyetume on Sunday.
Defender Ngoobi gave Bright Stars an early lead in the second minute to score in back to back games.
Just a minute after going behind, the hosts had an opportunity to equalise but Walter Ochora missed a free header.
As the hosts were pressing for an equaliser, goalkeeper Tamale Simon was forced into a double save.
BUL FC have gone five games without a win in the league and drop to 11th with 27 points.
Bright stars are on a nine-game unbeaten run and this is their fifth away win from last six league games. They have kept four clean sheets in a row on the road.
What next – BUL will travel away to Wakiso Giants at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on Tuesday 18th May while Bright Stars take on Onduparaka at the Greenlight stadium in Arua on the same day.
