Kyetume Stun Title Chasers URA At Nakisunga

Kyetume FC punched holes in URA FC title ambitions in a closely contested UPL game at Nakisunga Ssaza ground in Mukono.

The Slaughters improved their survival chances as well thanks to a 1-0 win with Latif Kiyemba on target.

Kiyemba curled home a beautiful freekick in the 78th minute and the said managed to hold on despite living dangerously.

Referee George Olem’s final whistle was greeted with wild celebrations and jubilations from home fans as their side move just three points adrift of safety.

Sam Ssimbwa’s side fail to retain their summit, remaining second with 54 points, a point below Express and as many above URA in third.

The win snaps Kyetume FC’s winless run of four games while is the third loss for URA after losing home and away to Express FC.

What Next – Kyetume visit SC Villa on May 22 while URA host UPDF the following day at Arena of Visions the next day.
