Uganda Needs A New Direction In Football – Mujib

Proline FC Director Mujid Kasule says Ugandans needs a new direction in football.

The former FUFA Vice president made these remarks after picking the FUFA presidency nomination forms on Monday ahead of August elections.

Jiba as he is commonly known said he picked the nomination form so he’s going to look for the signatures though he has been given a short period of time to complete the process of nomination.

“Today is the day for picking the nomination forms and as you can see, i have picked them.

“I am going to fill them and get the signatures that are required to be nominated and then return the form on Wednesday at mid-day.

“We have limited time. I need to move the whole country to get those signatures because those are the rules they have set so I will do my best.”

The CAF instructor thinks there is no fairness but he’s unmoved by that.

“The ground is not level but this happens when you are facing an incumbent. Regardless, we shall do our best.”

Mujid who failed in his bid to stand in 2017, says that Ugandans need a new direction when it comes to football and he is confident of victory.

“I think my chances are high because Ugandans wants this change, they need new direction in football and they are at par with the messages we send them so I think we shall win.”

If he is nominated, Mujib will come up against Moses Magogo who has been in office for the past two terms.
