The last two FUFA Women Elite League quarter finals will be played on Sunday at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

The first game of the day will see Amuria High School taking on Wakiso Hills in the morning.

For Amuria, having had a brilliant season as they topped their group with maximum points, they will be aiming at taking care of a Wakiso Hills side that waited for the final group games to ascertain their progress to the last 8.

Amuria striker Emmanuela Akoel will be the lady to watch as she already has four goals on her name and one of the three top scorers in the tournament.

To reach the Quarter Finals, Amuria High School finished as group C leaders with nine points while Wakiso Hills finished as second runners up in group D on four points.

In the other day’s contest, She Maroons will take on Ajax Queens later in the afternoon.

The Prison Warders will need their striker Kyomugisha Winnie, who already has four goals on her name, to be at her best. Ajax Queens will look up Namwenge Bernadette who also has the same number of goals as Kyomuhisha.

To reach here She Maroons finished as group D leaders with nine points while Ajax Queens were runners up in group C finishing with six points.

The winner between Amuria High School and Wakiso Hills will face the winner between She Maroons and Ajax Queens in the semi finals.

On Saturday, Bunyaruguru Girls and Rines WFC booked their tickets to the semi finals of the Fufa Women Elite League.

The semi finals will take place on Tuesday to determine the two sides that will face off in the final.

At the end of the season, the top three sides will qualify for the FUFA Women Super League.
