Salim Kisilu Returns As Power Face Falcons

Thursday, June 3
*UPDF Tomahawks Vs Ndejje Angels – 2pm
*Falcons Vs Betway Power – 4pm

Betway Power have been boosted by the return of forward cum centre Salim Kisilu for their game against Falcons.

The former Ndejje Angels player missed Power’s recent 59-81 loss to Nam Blazers on Saturday in Mukono.

That short-handed Power led 36-28 at halftime but lacked enough armoury to last the distance before they were handed a routine loss, their sixth from as many games.

Isaac Afidra and Amisi Saidi did their job in the front court but the duo lacked enough support in a game Power shot 33% from the field.

Brian Sivachi and Patrick Seduge are still sidelined while point guard Gauthier Badhera is reportedly still out of the country.

This will be the second game in charge for new coach Bernice Ankunda and Carol Bisereko (assistant) after the club parted ways with Arnold Lando Mchuda.

Falcons on the other hand, have won two games so far including a 77-76 hard fought victory over Ndejje Angels and will fancy their chances against fellow sleeping giant – Power.

Gerrard Ayiko, Arthur Wanyoto, Brian Ssentongo and Andrew Opio will be the key players for Falcons who also beat KCCA Panthers recently.

The games have been shifted from UCU Mukono to KIU court in Kansanga and only two games will be played, FUBA has announced.
