Bafana Bafana camp has suffered major set backs ahead of their international friendly with Uganda Cranes.

Two stars Percy Tau and Teboho Mokoena have tested positive for Coronavirus and will hence miss the Cranes friendly due June 10, per reports.

Without Tau, Bafana Bafana have Maritzburg duo of Thabiso Kutumela and Bongokuhle Hlongwane as the remaining strikers.

Per Kickoff media, Sipho Mbule has reportedly been asked to self isolate after getting into contact with Teboho.

Also, South Africa Football Association (SAFA) announced on Sunday that new head coach Hugo Broos will not be available.

This means that Broos’ two assistants Janevski Cedomir and Helman Mkhalele will be in charge for the game.

The friendly is part of preparations for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. South Africa are in Group G, together with Ghana, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia while Uganda have Kenya, Rwanda and Mali in group E.
