A missed penalty, missed again on retake due to goalkeeper encroachment, saw Tooro United held to a goalless draw against Luwero United at Wankulukuku last Wednesday.

The result denied Tooro United an automatic ticket to the Uganda Premier League that day.

The side have a second chance when they host Kigezi Homeboys and there will be no room for error.

Its a win or burst for Tooro United, if Proline pick maximum points at Lugogo against Water.

To paint a clear picture, Tooro United sit atop of the Rwenzori group with 28 points, two above Proline FC.

Tooro United have been flawless under coach Edward Golola and they have lost just once this campaign.

They will be playing their second game at Wankulukuku after they failed to secure Buhinga Stadium in the last two league games.

However, the club recieved a good boost from online betting company 1X Bet who unveiled a Sh100m (plus) kit partnership that will start next season. Surely, they will not afford to have another season in the second tier.

Against Tooro, like Coach Golola said in his post match interview, they did not have luck on their side.

Away from the missed penalty, Tooro dominated from onset, created plenty of chances but lacked a cutting edge on the day they needed a win to gain direct promotion.

They hit the woodwork and missed a keeper to beat either side of the halftime break.

Against Kigezi, they will need everything to go their way.

Kigezi are on the brink of Regional League football next season. They are 6th on the 8-team log with 14 points, just one above safety.

Kigezi need to at least match Ndejje University’s result to confirm another season in the second tier.
