Preview: Police Seek To Leapfrog Bright Stars

Police FC welcome Bright Stars as the Uganda Premier League returns from a Uganda Cup and International break.

Two points separate fourth placed Bright Stars and Police who will displace the side on Tuesday at Lugogo.

The first round between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw: Forwards Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo and Brian Muruli Mayanja scored twice each at Kavumba.

This will be the fourth meeting this season after Police eliminated Bright Stars over two legs.

The Visitors will be hoping for an improved performance after they conceded four times against Police at Lugogo in the cup.

Despite some poor results, Bright Stars have been tremendous this season and saw their players – Simon Tamale and Fred Akandanwaho summoned to the national team.

Police on the other hand will be seeking to make amends having failed to pick a win in their last six league games.
