Former Uganda Crested Cranes defender Jean Sseninde has taken another step towards helping the underprivileged women footballers.
She, on Thursday, launched, a Jean Sseninde United Limited company.
The company will operate in Uganda and England as an agency, consultancy and a sports management arm.
“My story is like that of every young woman who has failed to speak out,” Jean Sseninde told the media via zoom.
“From my experience, I dont want any young girl to go through it and that is why I want to give these girls the right opportunities and chances.”
“This Football agency will help to connect talented players. We want to inspire many young gurls join the game, provide them with an opportunity to play the game from their communities all the way to the paid ranks.”
Notably, she has formed a Football Academy and Women Senior football team. This, is intended to create the best global football opportunities and services to the girls on and off the field.
Sseninde is without doubt Uganda’s biggest women football export – She has had a glittering career that has seen her play for London Phoenix Ladies FC, Charlton Athletic Women’s Football Club, Queens Park Rangers Ladies Football Club among others.
