Gadafi Wahab: Wakiso Giants Part Ways with Midfielder

Midfielder Gadafi Wahab will not be at Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants next season.

Both parties have agreed to go separate ways.

Wakiso Giants earlier reportedly released Kipson Atuheire, Yasin Mugume, Swaib Mudde and Amos Muwonge.

Wahab joined the Purple Sharks in 2020 from Onduparaka FC, then signing a three-year contract.

Midway last season, Wahab was internally suspended by the club and he was on the verge of joining Mbarara City FC before the deal fell through.

He is remembered to have scored one of the goals as Onduparaka FC beat Sporting FC 3-0 in May 2016 as the Carterpillars, formed in 2011, secured a place in top flight.

He has also played for Doves United, now Arua Hills SC, when he was still a toddler.
