KCCA FC Captures Versatile Yasser Mugerwa

KCCA FC has announced the capture of midfielder Yassar Mugerwa on a two-year deal.

Following protracted negotitions between KCCA FC and the player’s representatives, both parties reached a concesus earlier this week and the Kasasiro Boys have finally got their man.

The nitty-gritty financial details of the deal, as it’s a norm for Ugandan local transfers, remained disclosed.

A free agent following expiration of his contract at Ethiopian side Sidama Coffee, Mugerwa has been also a target for reigning league Champions Express FC. However, KCCA FC has stolen the match on their arch rivals.

The transfer also indicated that the player re-joins forces with Coach Morley Byekwaso as the pair worked together at their days at SC Victoria University.

The former Orlando Pirates and URA player is KCCA FC’s third signing coming hot on the heels of Brian Majwega and Emmanuel Wasswa.

The andriot midfider has featured for clubs like St George, Shire FC, Fasil Kenema all from Ethiopia.
