Centre-back Shafic Nana Kakeeto has confirmed departure from Uganda Premier League side Busoga United.
Nana, as commonly known in football circles, joined the former Kirinya Jinja SS team in August 2019.
The defender has now issued a come and get me plea to UPL suitors ahead of the 2021/22 season.
“My contract with Busoga United has expired,” Nana told The-SportsNation.
“I am not ready to renew, so am a free agent looking for greener pastures.”
It is said that the defender has already been approached by two league sides and will be weighing up on his options.
Nana joined KJT Rwenshama during his senior six at St Mary’s Kitende.
After a brief spell, he later switched to Soana (now Tooro United) before signing for Express FC in 2017.
Nana is an intelligent and hard tackling defender, a good header of the ball and a commander with leadership attributes.
His departure is a big blow for Busoga United who spent most part of last season fighting relegation.
