New KCCA FC midfielder Yasser Mugerwa is determined to win trophies with the Kasasiro Boys.
The versatile midifelder inked a two year contract with the Kasasiro boys making him the third signing for new manager Morely Byekwaso.
“I feel so good and excited joining KCCA FC because of it’s rich history and structures,” Yasser Mugerwa told the club media.
In the past decade, KCCA FC has underlined it’s status as one of the best clubs in ugandan football and Mugerwa says its one other factor he considered before choosing to don the Yellow strip.
“The club structures and its way of management is one of the reasons I decided to join the club.”
Express FC and URA FC had all shown interest to land the former Orlando pirates midfielder, however the Lugogo based side beat them to the player’s signiture.
Yassar Mugerwa will be reuniting with former boss Morely Byekwaso who he says relationship is a good one.
“I’ve got a good relationship with the manager having worked with him at Victoria university.”
The midfielder is yearning for more glory at the club and still eyes continental football
“My objectives at KCCA FC is to see we win the championship next season as well as going back to CAF Champions league and perform very well for the club because that’s where it belongs.”
To the KCCA FC fans Yassar says they should expect a lot from him. “I will be a hardworking guy and fans should expect a lot from me.”
The versatile midfielder joined KCCA FC as a free agent after his contract expiration with Ethiopian side Sidama Coffee.
