Uganda Cranes Midfielder Aucho Khalid has confirmed his departure from Egyptian club El Makassa club.
The defensive midfielder leaves the club after spending two years since joining as a free agent from India’s Churchill Brothers in July 2019.
On Friday July 30th, the former Gor mahia player penned downed a farewell message to his former bosses confirming his exit.
“Thanks you team #lel makassa sc for being with me all these 2 years I was humbled to be a part of you in good and bad we remained as family may Allah bless you all of guys In the rest of the games and the rest to come thanks you alot for everything and to my fans I will let you know my next destination soon love you all🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤.” He wrote on his Facebook account.
The new developments come at a time when the player was reportedly experiencing torrid times at the club and had informed his representatives he wanted to leave. He also at one time cried foul of going six months without pay at the club.
Aucho was also on the verge of joining another Egyptian side Al ittihad Alexandria last year but the deal fell through at the eleventh hour.
His next destination is uncertain. However strong reports are Linking the defensive midfielder to Tanzania’s giants Simba Sc.
He has previously played for JMC Hippos, Simba, Tusker, Gor Mahia, Baroka, Red Star Belgrade, OFK Beograd, East Bengal and Churchill Brothers.
