BUL FC Confirm The Release of Eight players

Uganda Premier League side BUL FC has confirmed the release of up to eight players that made their roster for the previous 2020/2021 season.

The move, according to the club is geared towards improving the squad as immediate replacements for these professions appear to be lined up and on the horizon.

The core of these released players is made up of striker Anwar Ntege and midfielder Elvis Kibbale who have both joined URA FC and Edgars FC respectively. These two players made returns to their parent clubs after short spells away.

Charles Sempa and winger Robert Mukongotya are also part of the mass exodus alongside striker Deogracious Ojok who has been underwhelming during his time with the Busoga team.

Experienced defenders like Dennis Okot Oola who also doubles as former KCCA FC captain most remembered for his leadership during the club’s most impressive season on the continent in 2018 makes the list along with Jimmy Kulaba and Musa Walangalira.

The six players leave the club following the expiry of their respective contracts and with the club not renewing.

It ought to also be remembered that the Busoga based side parted ways with their head coach Arthur Kyesimira after indefinitely suspending following their unacceptable 1-0 loss to Busoga United in the return leg of the Busoga derby.
