“We will have a one week camp at African bible University in Lubowa. After that camp, we shall select 20.”

When asked how he came up with the selected group of players, the Turkish gaffer responded: “I was watching many of them and also with the help of those following the national team.”

He would add: “We want to promote Ugandan football. Uganda has a very big potential in football so we have so many quality players but just may be they don’t get such opportunities to showcase and expose. This is our aim to promote such young talent to Europe.”
