New UPL Entrants Agree Terms With Robert Eseru

Uganda Premier League new entrants Arua Hill FC is not taking anything for granted as far as transfers are concerned.

The Westnile based side is keeping close tabs on UPDF forward Robert Eseru, The-SportsNation has learnt.

The negotiations that will sway Eseru to Kongolo are believed to be 90% done and he will soon be confirmed as a Kongolo player.

Personal terms already agreed and he will sign two years with the club.

Eseru, who crossed from Ndejje University to UPDF FC, has spent three seasons with the Army side after helping them back to the UPL.

The forward was also part of the Ndejje University team that gained promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

The former Ndejje University forward was a key player for UPDF FC last season notching five goals in the league and scooping two man of the match awards against MYDA and SC Villa He scored a brace against the Jogoos in the last game of the season.

Incase the deal materialises, Eseru will join Andama Junior, Yusuf Sharif Saaka, Faizul Ibrahim, Ivan Eyam, Innocent Maduka and former teammate Fred Okot as Arua Hill’s new signings.
