The President of the Confederation of African Football Patrice Motsepe will be in attendance as Express face Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi in the CECAFA Kagame Cup final.

He also attended the CECAFA Extraordinary General Assembly at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

Per CAF website, he called for co-operation amongst Member Associations to build a stronger CAF.

“As Africa, we must run our football affairs with dignity. While we might not have the financial muscles, we should get into meaningful partnerships,” Dr. Motsepe is quoted.

On Saturday, he is expected to be accompanied by CAF Secretary General Veron Mosengo-Omba, the President of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Wallace Karia, FUFA President Moses Magogo and CECAFA officials.
