Uganda Cranes: Bobosi Ready To Fight For Place

Vipers midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga says he’s ready to work tirelessly and hard so that he can get the chance to face Kenya in the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Midfielder was among the 30 players summoned earlier this week by head coach Milutin Sredojevic to start preparations for the forthcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

“I’m really happy to represent my nation again and extremely ready to learn from the senior players in the squad. Hardwork is what should be expected of me.”

The midfielder further adds that he is ready to learn a lot during the trip to Kenya and will be assertive when taking his chances in the friendly matches.

Bobosi couldn’t confirm with finality the state of fitness and sharpness in the squad but highlighted about his personal training while during lockdown.

“I can’t tell you that we have been training all that well since we haven’t been together but what I can say is that I have been having personal training and am now ready to compete.”

The Cranes travel to Kenya on September 1st before facing Mali at home on 5th. Uganda is in Group E of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers alongside Kenya, Rwanda and Mali.
