Uganda Cranes midfielder Saidi Kyeyune has returned to Uganda Premier League side URA FC, sources close to the player have informed The-SportsNation.
Kyeyune left URA FC after securing a move to Sudanese side Al-Merrikh Omdurman on January 31, 2021.
At the point, he brought to an end a10-year spell with the Tax Collectors. While with them, he had established himself as an intergal part of the club.
The midfielder impressed the Sudanese giants thanks to his show at 2020 CHAN campaign where he scored two goals including a beauty against Togo.
At Al Merrikh however, he agreed on a mutual termination of his contract after just months following their failure to make it out of the group stages at last season’s CAF Champions League.
His return to URA FC will be a huge boost having scored eight goals in the league last season.
The Tax Collectors have already confirmed Derrick Ndahiro, Simon Baligeya, Andrew Isiagi and Kabon Living.
Goalkeeper James Alitho and Viane Ssekajugo have reportedly agreed terms with the club as well.
