Kyetume FC have confirmed loaning midfielder Nicholas Kasozi to Uganda Premier League defending champions Express FC.
The-SportsNation broke the news earlier in July, and Kyetume FC President Ruben Mubiru has confirmed the development on Tuesday evening.
The reality of playing in Big League with Kyetume FC next season is said to hace forced Kasozi to join Express FC.
The President has stated: “Kasozi Nicholas is loaned to Express upto 30 June 2022, to allow him time to play competitively.”
“Kyetume FC and Nicholas (Kasozi) will benefit more when he/Nicholas is playing at continental level not big league where we are now.
“We should give him all the blessings for now till we bounce back to UPL then when he can play with Kyetume FC again.”
Kasozi reunites with coach Wasswa Bbosa and Abel Eturude who he worked with during the days at SC Villa.
Express FC beats KCCA, SC Villa and URA FC who were also in talks with Kasozi.
The former Synergy FC Midfielder who won one league tittle and the CECAFA kagame Cup in Rwanda controversially left KCCA FC a season back.
The Red Eagles have already acquired goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa (Kyetume) and Winger Joseph Akandwanaho (Bright Stars).
