Uganda Premier League debutants Arua Hill SC have completed the signing of a Nigerian born midfielder Innocent Maduka on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club up to 2023.
The midfielder joins the West Nile side as a free agent from FUFA Big League side Black Power FC following the expiry of contract with the club.
Maduka put up impressive performances to help Black Power finish third in the Elgon Group and was a key member of the team.
The attacking midfielder registered equal figures of six for both goals and assists in the season and therefore no surprises for guessing if these performances were the attraction of his suitors.
The Nigerian has also previously featured for Amuka Bright Stars before joining Bukedea Town Council where he would eventually depart for Blacks Power FC.
He becomes the latest and eighth signing for the Kongolo as they continue to strengthen their team ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier league season.
Maduka joins players like: Sharif Yusuf Saaka, Andama Junior, Faizal Ibrahim Anini, Ivan Eyam, Gaddafi Wahab, forward Samuel Ssekamatte and Toha Rashid who recently joined from Vipers SC.
Reports further indicate that former UPDF FC defender Bright Vuni and Musa Eseru have already completed their moves to Arua Hill with only official unveiling pending.
The West Nile side have established themselves as big spenders in the market and are already landing every name they point at in a bid to deepen their squad depth for the season to come.
