New UPL Entrant Appoints Steven Bogere As New Coach

New Uganda Premier League side Gaddafi FC have appointed Steven Bogere as their new coach, The-SportsNation can exclusively report.

Bogere joins Gaddafi FC on a two-year deal until 2023.

He replaces Hassan Zungu who helped the side earn Uganda Premier League promotion.

Bogere, regarded as one of the best footballer of his generation, started at Millers FC in the early 1980s, featured for Tobacco FC, Spear Motors, Nile FC and SC Villa.

His coaching CV include SC Villa, UPDF and Buddu in Masaza Cup.

Bogere will be hoping for better fortunes at Gaddafi FC, a side that will be playing in top flight for the first time

They beat Proline FC in Big League playoffs to join Arua Hill and Tooro United who were earlier promoted automatically to UPL after end of the Big league regular season.
