Egypt Appoints Carlos Queiroz As New Coach

Egypt Football Association (EFA) has named Carlos Queiroz as the new coach for Egypt National Football team the Pharaohs.

The appointment comes just days after EFA parted ways with Hossam El Badry after a one-all draw with Gabon.

El Badry had not lost in any of his ten games in charge – He had won six and drawn four.

First for new coach Queiroz will be the double header against Libya next month in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Queiroz will work with Diaa El Sayed, Mohamed Shawky and goalkeepers coach Hossan El Hadary.
