Uganda is preparing to face Kenya in the first round of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

Uganda will face her neighbour in Nairobi between 23rd to 25th September while the return leg will be played between 7th to 9th October in Kampala.

In an interview talking about the progress of the team so far in training and having all players in Camp, Khalifa stated:

“We have moved on well so far since we entered the camp. The girls have been fine we have not had any injuries.”

The team was beefed up with the arrival of three Lady Doves FC players Goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga, Defender Halima Kanyago and forward Joweria Nagadya.

The trio featured in the just concluded CAF Champions League Qualifiers where they settled for third place in Nairobi.
