Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants have unveiled Former Busoga United forward Sharif Kimbowa as their second signing in the ongoing transfer window.
His unveiling and confirmation was made official on Tuesday 14th September, via the club’s social media accounts.
Kimbowa is said to have signed a three-year employment contract with the Purple Sharks that will keep him at the club for the next three years.
He becomes the latest and second official signing for the Purple Sharks after former Express FC winger Frank Ssenyondo, who recently joined the club at the start of this month.
Kimbowa has previously had stints at Synergy FC, Nkumba University, Doves FC and Lungujja Galaxy.
In a bid to strengthen their Striking force, Kimbowa’s addition will prove to a big addition to the club.
He will look to beef up the attacking department that also has Frank Sebuufu and Ivan Bogere who extended his loan deal with the Purple Sharks.
Strong reports have it that former Buddu FC forward Titus Ssematimba has already joined the club with only official Unveiling pending.
Wakiso Giants who finished 9th with 36 points from 26 games last season, released four players – Kipson Atuhaire, Swaib Mudde, Amos Muwonge and Yasin Mugume.
They have also lost their leading talisman Viane Ssekajugo, who joined Uganda Premier league side URA FC after the expiration of his contract.
