*Al-Merrikh (Sudan) Vs Express (Uganda) – 8pm
Express FC meet Al-Merrikh in the return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The match was pushed from Friday to Sunday in dramatic turn of events, and will be played at Shikan Castle Stadium in Obeid not Khartoum.
The Red Eagles who left Uganda on Tuesday, had camped in Khartoum before changes were communicated.
However, Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbosa later said that the changes are a blessing in disguise as his side needed more time to acclimatise with the hot temperatures in Sudan.
Amidst all those obstacles, Express are well aware of what is at stake.
The CECAFA Kagame Cup champions won the first leg 2-1 at Kitende last Friday and will need at least a draw to book a place in the next round.
Express FC, with Eric Kambale, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Martin Kizza, have enough power up front, but its their defence that will be asked to show up in what may is surely their biggest game in recent memory.
Zambia’s Zanaco awaits at the other end after the side ousted Akanagoui of Equatorial Guinea 3-0 on aggregate.
