Henry Katongole: Lanky Defender Leaves Police FC

Centre-back Henry Katongole has parted ways with Uganda Premier League side Police FC, The-SportsNation has learnt.

Katongole leaves after two seasons since he joined Police from Vipers in 2019.

The defender who won the league title with Express FC in the 2011/12 season, is rumoured to be on his way back to SC Villa.

He left SC Villa in August 2018 after a three-year stay at the record league winners.

He is the latest player to leave Police FC who are yet to confirm the future of coach Abdallah Mubiru.

Right back Denis Rukundo left for Rwanda while striker Derrick Kakooza signed for Valmiera in Latvia.

The list of departures at Police also include striker Henry Kisekka, Musa Matovu, Bashir Kabuye and Edward Kiryowa.
