Uganda Beach Soccer Acquire Land In Buliisa

Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) has acquired one acre of land in  Buliisa District.

The development was confirmed via the Association’s official website.

This is a huge milestone as UBSA seeks to spread the game across the country.

UBSA chairman Deo Mutabazi attended the inspection of the site at Kisansya Primary School in Buliisa Town Council.

“This shows that there is a great improvement of the game and a healthy relationship with all football stakeholders in Uganda,” Mutabazi noted.

“We thank the Kitara Region for bearing a vision to have Beach soccer on region level as it is in FUFA president’s manifesto in the new term of office.”

The Mayor Buliisa town council Muliisa Epafurah promised full support saying that “we shall offer the necessary support to this  project and make it a reality.”

Other UBSA officials in attendance were Ali Mwebe (FUFA Football Director), Bashir Mutyaba (UBSA technical Director), Tonny Ssebagala (UBSA Protocol/Events Manager), Mutebi Julius (UBSA Communication/Marketing Director) among other officials in the region.
