Uganda Premier League side Busoga United has confirmed their Technical Staff ahead of the new 2021/22 Season.
The confirmation was made on Wednesday 22nd via the club’s social media accounts.
Kikomeko Abbey Bogere has been retained as the head Coach. He will be assisted by Jalendo Jimmy, who was elevated from the Fitness coach role.
Bright Dhaira has also been retained on his role as a goalkeeping coach. Ikoba Afani, who served as head coach for Eastern regional side Bugiri De School has been named the new fitness coach.
Former Sc Villa forward Luzige Edgar has the training coach.
Kulika Ivan and Nayenga Uthiman are the team doctors for the club while Kyeyune Aloysius will serve as the Physiotherapist.
In the ongoing pandemic, Busoga United is one of the clubs that has been hit financially and have lost their key players in the just concluded transfer window.
They lost key members to rival side BUL FC that include defender Douglas Muganga, Ivan Wani, Jerome Kirya and George Kasonko. Midfielder Isma Mugulusi joined Sc Villa while forward Sharif Kimbowa crossed to Wakiso Giants.
However last month, the Side conducted trials in a bid to add in young players and also fill the void left by senior players.
Last season, Busoga United survived relegation as they finished 13th on the UPL log with 26 points after 26 games played.
