Wakiso Giants Officially Confirm All Signed and Released Players

Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants have revealed their transfer business after closure of the Primary transfer window on Tuesday.

Unlike in the past windows, the Purple Sharks have not added a marquee signing.

Coach Douglas Bamweyana termed the window as “funny transfer” that gas been impacted by the Covid19 pandemic.

As quoted by the club’s media, Bamweyana added: “There’s not been a lot of quality on the market to significantly improve an already good squad we have here hence the tendency to look at the club’s future except in situations where we needed to plug a gap of sorts.”

Wakiso Giants, preparing for their third season in top flight, finished ninth with 36 points last season.
