Abraham Ndugwa: Attacking Midfielder Off To Serbia

Former Vipers midfielder Abraham Ndugwa is off to Serbia to seal a new deal.

This was first reported by Nicholas Tendo Musoke who is a close associate of the Sepuya Agency which is attached to the player.

Ndugwa, released by Vipers last month, is set to join Serbian side FK Buducnost Dobanovci.

The former Masavu FC captain joined Vipers in 2018 and scored 10 goals in 41 games, per club stats.

During the spell, he won the Uganda Premier League and FUFA Pilsner Super 8 but notably scored against Al-Merrikh to send Vipers to the second round of the CAF Champions League in 2018.

Ndugwa was earlier linked to moves to UPL sides Wakiso Giants and Express.

His new club, if the deal comes to pass, currently competes in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the Serbia national league system.
